The Report Card examines women’s experiences and perceptions of safety in their families, communities and workplaces. In addition to the threat to life, domestic and family violence, or the threat of such violence, discrimination, sexual harassment and an inability to participate fully in society have social, emotional and financial implications for women and the overall economy. Here a focus is placed on family and domestic violence, which remains one of the greatest dangers to the safety and wellbeing of women and children in Western Australia. Further details can be accessed in the report, on issues such as discrimination, sexual harassment and interactions with the legal and justice system.
